Fun Drink Friday - Pumpkin Spice Latte

Pumpkin Spice Latte

Ingredients
1 cup milk

2 tablespoons pure pumpkin puree

1 tablespoon sugar

1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, plus more for sprinkling
1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1/4 cup hot espresso or strong brewed coffee

Sweetened whipped cream, for serving


Directions
Combine the milk, pumpkin puree, sugar, pumpkin pie spice and vanilla in a medium microwave safe bowl, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and vent with a small hole. Microwave until the milk is hot, 1 to 2 minutes.

Whisk vigorously until the milk mixture is foamy, about 30 seconds.

Pour the espresso or coffee into a large mug and add the foamed milk. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice.

Fun Drink Friday - Tart Cherry Eyeball Punch - Party & Adult Recipes

Tart Cherry Eyeball Punch

Drain 2 (15-oz.) cans lychees,reserving 1 ½ cups of syrup.Carefully stuff blackberries (from a 6-oz. container) in each lychee; chill. Stir together reserved syrup, 4 cups tart cherry juice, and 1 cup fresh orange juice in a large pitcher; chill. Add stuffed lychees and 3 (12-oz.) cans chilled sparkling water to punch. 

Serve over ice. Makes 12 servings

*For a sweeter drink, substitute ginger ale for sparkling water. 

Adults only: Stir 1 ½ cups vodka or light rum into punch.

     Jake frowned, feet braced apart, arms crossed over his

chest. Who in the hell did this bike belong to? Walking

around the 2017 Suzuki GW250, he knew they had to be a

cop and a female at that. Every morning for the past two

months, this bike and its driver would mess with him on

his way into the station.

     “What are you doing, shopping for a new look?” Gabe

asked as he strolled in.

     “It’s this bike, man. This is the one I’ve been telling you

about, the one that fucks with me every morning.”

     Jake turned at Gabe’s chuckle. “What’s so funny?”

    “You moron and the fact you can’t figure out who rides

it.” Gabe slapped him on the shoulder as he took off for

the stairs. “Let’s go, Columbo. We’ve got work to do.”

     Jake flung one last scowl at the terrorizer before

following his brother.

Fun Drink Friday - VAMPIRE BITE SHOTS

                                                     VAMPIRE BITE SHOTS

1 Part Coconut Rum
1 Part Peach Schnapps
1 Part Vodka
Splash Grenadine
Garnish: Mini Vampire Fangs

PREPARATION
1. Add ice, coconut rum, peach schnapps and vodka to a shaking glass and combine until cold.
2. Strain mix into shot glass.
3. Garnish edge of glass with vampire teeth before adding a splash of grenadine.

Fun Drink Friday - Maui Waters

MAUI WATERS

2 oz. (60ml) Blue Raspberry Vodka
1 1/2 oz. (45ml) Lemon Juice
Lemon Lime Soda
Garnish: Salt Rim

PREPARATION
1. Rim edge of glass with margarita salt. Set aside.
2. Add ice, vodka and lemon juice to shaking glass and shake well until combined.
3. Add ice to rimmed glass and strain mix over. Top with lemon lime soda.

How the Undercover Lover Series Came to be...

Ok, so, how did the Undercover Lover Series come about...

Zack, was actually published in 2007 by a small publisher as Undercover Lover.

He was only out for a short time, maybe six months. Hit the best selling list for them and everything.   And Then...

The publisher went belly up and all rights came back to me.

And so, he sat there for, ten years.

When I decided I wanted to self-publish, I looked at everything I had 😳 OH, yes. We're talking over 200 manuscripts, about half completed and 40 plots written down, ready to be written.

Zack and Sydney screamed to me. 💏

I thought, well, why not make Undercover Lover into the first book, I'll call it. Zack, and then do one for each of his brothers, and we'll make it a series.😀

RIGHT!! Totally Awesome!!

So, Zack, is done. Gabe is releasing on September 15th, 

Jake is releasing in November and ...

Mitch. 🤔 

What in the heck do I do with Mitch? Mitch is the oldest brother. 

Zack took Sydney to his wedding in ZACK.

Sooooo, do I do a short 10K, for Mitch's story or a full 20K and list it as a prequel????

🤔🤔🤔🤔

No sure yet, but I'm writing as we speak.😁

So, that is how the Undercover Lover Series came to be.
