YES!!! 2013 is here and no we did not meet the end of the world in December!! HA!! LOL.
Sorry
I haven't blogged on my regular day(s), I've seriously had a lot of
things happening and it doesn't look as if it's going to slow down
anytime to soon LOL.
1) Ended my current day position
2) Christmas
3) Started new day position
4) Submitted newest manuscript for The Other Kin Series * started on the 3rd ;-)
5) Moved ...
Moving
is not the easiest thing, no matter if you're going next door or across
the country, and when you're dead dog sick, feverish, achy, and
coughing because lovely family members bringing the flu down from NY,
well, it makes the experience one of it's own, let me tell you! :-)
So
yes, my family has moved (Still in FL) and I'm feeling a bit
discombobulated as I sit here typing, as I have not set up my writing
office (Yes!! I finally have a writing area) as my own yet. One I
anticipate we'll be here a year at most as we're leasing a house and
then look into buying in the area if we like it. So I don't want to set
it up and paint and do all those good things I want to do until I'm for
sure the area is mine and mine forever!! LOL.
The
dog and cat are happy as two peas in a pod, LOL. There's so much room
for them to run inside never mind the half acre outside. Elvis (my dachshund)
is in his glory as he's stepped up from chasing lizards to being able
to run after stork white looking birds, I think they're egrets? not
sure, and squirrels. So he's crashing right now beside me from his morning run LOL.
The
man child (my teenager) is thrilled to have a huge room with a walk in
closet, and be in an area where Game Stop is closer than an hour away.
:-)
My honey is happy to have a "man" cave :-) So we've all gotten what we wanted and more. Nothing like ringing in the New Year with a Great Big Positive on all accounts!!
So finally feeling a bit better and there's still a ton of boxes to unpack, and a house to situate.
I do believe after the riding lawn mower is delivered today we'll be
heading out to some stores to check into more comfortable chairs and a
bigger desk for me :-) YAY!! (Sending lovey kisses my honey's way)
6) New Years
7) Tying the knot in March...

Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas
Yes, I said Merry Christmas. I know some will say, why didn't she just put ' happy holidays?'. Well because I celebrate Christmas and being politically correct all the time is a pain in my butt. Especially when I like to say it plainly, but use the moderator in my head to speak politely.
So which ever holiday you celebrate, I'm hoping you have a grand one!!
I plan on spending time with family and eating lots of great food!
On the writing end...
The second manuscript for The Other Kin Series has been sent to my publisher - Whiskey Creek Press Torrid and I am currently working on the third manuscript for the series with the fourth plotting in the back of my head. LOL.
Again, Merry Christmas to all and read lots!!

4 out of 4 Stars = AWESOME REVIEW for The Werewolf's Mate
The Werewolf's Mate has everything it takes for a fun and sexy read. It
has hunky Lyken, sexy vampires, and bad-ass fairies all living together in
peace until an ancient evil threatens not only their town but their very souls
Now, an outcast has returned to save them all - and to claim the man she still
loves.
I'm a big fan of the paranormal genre and of
shifter stories in general. That being said, it was the heroine that stole the
thunder in this short story. Kala was one kick-ass Fairy. She protected what
was hers. That meant she was willing to go to the mat to defend her mate, her
daughter and her town. I also liked the fact that instead of being a vindictive
bitch, Kala came back to save the same people who had treated her so badly.
I must say that I was very impressed with the author's writing. The plot was very interesting. The storyline was consistent.

I enjoy the story more when I get to experience
not only the POV of the heroine but that of the hero also.
That being said, I still liked the story enough to look
forward to a next entry in the series.
