Fun Drink Friday - Blueberry Beach Sipper - Barefoot Wines

Barefoot Blueberry Beach Sipper

Ingredients

• 3 ounces Barefoot Red Moscato
• 1 ounce Blueberry Juice
• 1/4 ounce Lemon Juice
• Blueberries Garnish

Directions

1. Combine blueberry juice and lemon juice in large rocks glass over fresh ice
2. Top with Barefoot Red Moscato
3. Garnish with fresh skewered blueberries or floated frozen blueberries
4.

Runa Teaser - Releasing 06.21.17

So, last week, I gave you a teaser into Roma. 

Here's Runa's.

Runa: Runa the Lost is promised to Brax Del’Nor, leader of a rival clan to ensure the safety of hers. Yet after her arrival to his home, Runa discovers a plot within his family to kill her new husband.

Runa’s eyes closed, nostrils flared, the sweet scent on his clothes from the desert mixed with his masculine odor sent a quiver through her body. “Really?”

“Mmmm.”

“And, wh-what did you want?”

“You.”

Her lids fluttered as his thumb ran the line of her jaw. “Oh. Um, why?”

“I don’t know.”

Her lips parted as his warm breath stroked her cheek. “May I call you Brax?”

He smiled, liking she knew of the Kryten ways. “When we are alone, yes.”

Runa laid her hands on his chest, the warm leather heating her palms. “Will you kiss me?”

Brax moved his fingers around the side of her head, his thumb resting just below her ear and lowered his head.

Cheesecake Stuffed Strawberries

Cheesecake Stuffed Strawberries

 Prep Time 15 minutes

 Total Time 15 minutes

 Servings 18 -24 strawberries

Ingredients

• 1 Pint of Strawberries (or more… there will be cheesecake filling leftover but the size of the strawberries will determine how many you can fill)
• 2 oz White chocolate
• Graham crumbs

Cheesecake Filling

• 6 oz Cream Cheese , softened
• 4 tablespoons powdered sugar
• 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
• rind from 1 lemon
• 3 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions

1. Wash strawberries and dry well.
2. Cut the tops off the strawberries and hollow out the center using a small spoon or a strawberry huller(this is the type I use, works for tomatoes and strawberries)
3. Place the chocolate in a small dish and melt on 50% power for about 15 seconds.. continue in 10 second increments until the chocolate is melted
4. Slice a thin piece of the bottom of each strawberry so it can stand up and pat it dry with a paper towel. Dip the bottom of each strawberry into chocolate and then graham crumbs and place on a parchment lined pan.
5. Meanwhile, beat cream cheese, heavy cream, sugar, lemon juice and lemon rind if using until smooth and creamy.
6. Place the cream cheese mixture in a decorator or into a Ziploc bag. If using a Ziploc bag, snip off a corner.
7. Pipe the cream cheese mixture into each strawberry. Garnish with sprinkles or graham crumbs.

OMG!! These look soooooo yummy!!!!

I'm going to have to try them out at my next BBQ!!

I absolutely LOVE strawberries and cheesecake!! 

What a different way to combine the two!

Roma Teaser - Releasing 06.21.17

Good Morning!

With the release of Roma and Runa just around the corner, 

I'm going to give you a teaser into Roma's story.

Roma: Roma Rinnali is a Centurian Guard, one of the elite warriors of the Galactic Forces. On her way to retrieve her nephew, she meets General Gorian Ocano. As their passion ignites, they must team up to fight a twisted professor when the kids are sent to the detention center for no reason.

“Do you always listen to your cock, General?”

“No.”

“Good.” She smiled, nipping his neck and his dick jerked inside her.

“Roma.” His eyes fluttered. “You don’t understand – Kothorians are very…”

“Sexual, yes, I know.”

“If I take you the way I want, you won’t be able to walk.”

“Then get me a wheeled chair.”

Gorian leaned back and met her gaze as she moved her mouth to his nipple. Her pearly white teeth latched on, then her lips. “Gods woman!”

I loved writing these two short stories! It was a challenge for me as I've never written short before.

I hope you enjoy reading Roma and Runa as much as I did bringing their stories to life.

Fun Drink Friday - Barefoot Wines - Strawberry Lemonade Sangria

I absolutely LOVE Barefoot wines!

So when I saw this recipe, I'm like, not only and I going to share it, but I'm going to make it at our next BBQ. 

I'm sure my friends and neighbors are going to enjoy!!

I'll take pics and keep you updated!

STRAWBERRY LEMONADE SANGRIA

Ingredients

• 3 ounces Barefoot Moscato
• 1 ounce Orange Liqueur
• 2 ounces lemonade
• 2 ounces lemon lime soda
• ½ lemon (Squeezed)
• 2 slices lemon (quartered into 8 pieces)
• 1 sliced strawberry
• Mint garnish

Directions

1. Grab a hurricane glass and fill it 2/3 full of ice.
2. Layer the ingredients in the order listed above, leaving about an inch at the top of your cup.
3. Add a tall straw, garnish with mint, head out to the patio and crank up the tunes. Toe-tally perfect!
