Here she is folks, my newest cover for the Galactic Federation Series: Retrievers - Book 2

Seducing Soma is the 2nd book of 3 in this short series under the GFS Series.

Blurb: 

They are Retrievers. If something is stolen, they are hired to get it back.

They go in unseen and unnoticed, however getting out without being shot at, is another story. They are one of the best teams in the Federation and are paid handsomely for their services.

They are family.

Being the strongest member of the team has its ups and downs. Soma Ke’ino is able to lift ten times her weight, so lifting a door off its hinges in the middle of a retrieval is nothing. However, being shot by a cluster bullet is enough to take anyone down.

Recovering on the warrior planet of Du’Shara. Soma meets her match, in wit, strength and passion with Zedan Muto, chieftain of his people and the only man to catch Soma’s interest.

They find their time together filled with a passion neither of them expected. Will Soma be able to submit to Zedan’s dominate side, and can he keep her when Zedan acquires her team to retrieve an item stolen from his mother to be handed down to his fiancé?

I'm BACK!! I think, wait a minute...

 Well, HELLO!!

OMG right!! Sorry I haven't posted on here in a while!! I was going between Social Media overload and a new day job.

So I APOLOGIZE!! to all my readers, blog peeps and anyone who happened to come across my blog.

I have been on Facebook and Twitter, at a minimum, but I've been there.😊

So, I've learned a few new habits while I've been gone. 

The big ONE: Organization

LOL, no I'm not kidding. That's the one thing I love about working with different folks. I can always learn something to better myself, either personally or for my writing or my day job. 

I thought I was organized, key word...THOUGHT

And I guess I was to a 'minimal' degree 😜

I've learned a few new and better ways.

So, I'm going through a day job change at the moment, and I'm not sure, how many days I'll be able to blog a week, so I don't want to promise anything.

The one weekly post, I'd really LOVE to bring back is

Fun Drink Friday - Honeydew Martini

Honeydew Martini

3 ounces vodka

1/2 ounce Midori

1/2 ounce triple sec

Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with crushed ice. 

Pour all your ingredients in with it. 

Shake it up well and strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a slice of orange.

The Honeydew Martini tastes about the way you’d expect. 

Midori tastes like honeydew, vodka adds no particular flavor, and the triple sec is a small enough amount to just give the drink a little edge of sweet and tart.

St. Patrick's Day Mint Shakes

Ingredients

• 1 pint vanilla ice cream (2 cups)
• 1/4 cup whole milk
• 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
• 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
• 3 or 4 drops green liquid food coloring 
• Whipped cream and green sanding sugar, for garnish

Directions

Watch how to make this recipe.

Blend the ice cream, milk, peppermint extract, vanilla and food coloring in a blender until smooth. Pour into one or two serving glasses and garnish with whipped cream and sanding sugar.

SPEARMINT VODKA COOLER

83 calories, 10 grams sugar

Indulge in this vodka cooler without feeling the slightest bit guilty. The refreshing cocktail is infused with cool minty flavor, thanks to organic spearmint tea, and each serving clocks in just 83 calories.

Ingredients:

6 spoonfuls spearmint tea

2 1/2 c. water

1/2 c. vodka

1/4 c. lime juice

1/4 c. agave nectar

Directions:

Pour boiling water over tea and infuse 4-7 minutes. Strain tea and pour into a pitcher filled with ice. Stir in vodka, lime juice, and agave nectar. Garnish glasses with mint sprigs and lime wedges.

Makes 6 servings

Fun Drink Friday - Scarlet Rose Sipper

Scarlet Rose Sipper

4 oz. Barefoot Rosé still wine

3/4 oz. raspberry syrup

1 oz. pomegranate juice

Mint leaf

Directions

1. Chill all liquid ingredients prior to use
2. Drizzle syrup around the inside of a glass to coat
3. Allow syrup to make a puddle in the well of the glass
4. Add pomegranate juice, then top with Rosé and mint leaf

Fun Drink Friday - Slow-Cooker Mulled Wine

Slow - Cooker Mulled Wine

INGREDIENTS

• 1 bottle red wine
• 1 c. apple cider
• 1 c. cranberry juice
• 1/3 c. sugar
• 1 c. fresh cranberries
• 2 oranges, peels and juice
• 2 whole cinnamon sticks
• 1 tbsp. whole cloves
• 1 tbsp. star anise

DIRECTIONS

1. Combine wine, cider, cranberry juice, sugar, cranberries, the peel from 1 orange, the juice of 1 orange, cranberries, cinnamon sticks, cloves and star anise in a slow cooker. Stir to combine. Cook on high until warm, about 30 minutes.

1. Serve warm and garnish each glass with a piece of orange peel.
