Ohhhh, I am soooooo stoked!!

I received my first round of edits last week and had them back in not to long after! Woot!!

The Last story in The Other Kin Series, is coming May 2014.

I'm glad my edits came to me and I had them back to my editor 

before yesterday. 

Ohh, the drama...two teeth extracted and a bone graph done so I can have the implants.

The dentist asked me on our consult if I'd rather go with a partial, as it's close to the two back teeth and my insurance would pick more up. 

I replied nah, that's ok, I'm to tired and lazy in the morning and night to take them out, clean them and OH...remember where I put them .

My dentist and her assistant laughed and said, 'well at least you're honest.'

My oral surgeon is great ... he loves James Bond and has it going on all TVs in the office when he's working (There's one in every room). 

We were watching Casino Royale before those nifty little 'sleeping agents' worked and twighlighted me right out. 

 CH'A!! 

So, now I'm all set for the next round of edits! *Pulling my editing panties up.* 

My mouth soreness has just about dissipated, but I'm still on a liquid or 'smooth' diet and I took tomorrow off from the day job! HA, I will be well rested!

Alexis gasped as her eyes flew open. Sitting up, she looked around, disoriented until she remembered why she passed out. Lifting her hands, Alexis noticed clean white gauze wrapped around them. Then she scanned the elegant room. Definitely masculine, adorned in deep rich colors of reds, purples and blues. As she took in the velvet drapes, her hand ran over the silk comforter covering her and she realized she wore only her bra and underwear.

The wooden door opened, and she jumped, pulling the comforter up just as the dark haired warrior who had helped her in the park walked in. Her nipples hardened against the soft material at the sight of him. “Where am I?”

“My house,” he answered as he lifted her hands to examine them. “Not too fond of blood are you?”

“Not my own.” Alexis’ pussy muscles contracted at his touch, and his dark eyebrow shot up, as if he knew. She tugged her hand back and gripped the comforter to her chest. Uneasy with the way her body reacted so quickly to this man, she wanted away from him. “Um, may I have my clothes please?”

Well What a Week!!

Well the day job's been nutty, I've been down with a nasty little bug, and I have to prepare for a presentation. Can it get any worse? Wait a minute - YA!! Tax time is coming, and my fingers don't want to type worth a crap.

I am NOT going to the dark side, even if they have cookies!! *grins* ( Macroons maybe )

I can't wait!! I'm so excited!!

I'm working to finish up my sequel to A Slave's Way Out, and work on another for The Cougar line at THe Wild Rose Press.
