Thank you for your totally awesome words Stacie!! I know I e-mailed you back, but just so others know. I am almost finished with the 2nd book of The Other Kin Series, I'm at that spot where I've just finished a sensuous body tingling love scene ;-)  and a battle is approached :-)  -- I will say no more :-)  then one more read through of the final scenes, a last read through of the entire manuscript, and it will be off to my publisher. *SQUEAL* I am soooo psyched!!

Tropical Storm Issac

So Issac is still threatening my area of Tampa Bay with a Tropical Storm Warning.

Oh Issac how thoughtful of you!  (That's sarcasm at its best lol)

Some schools have already called off for tomorrow while the majority are waiting until tonight and tomorrow to see what happens. I home school so it doesn't really affect me :-)

Preparations at my house have been made and what's left on the check list will be completed today. You know...

Water... Check

Flash Lights....Check

Batteries... Check

and the rest of the check list... Check and getting Checked.

I went grocery shopping yesterday, my normal every Saturday routine and was surprised to see that the store wasn't littered with shoppers only in there to get supplies like water (plenty left on the shelves), batteries, canned goods and more. They did have more staff working which was fine with me, because anyone who grocery shops on a Saturday knows it's a busy time, so the lines were short and people were kept moving quiet nicely. Thank you Publix :-) I always love shopping with you!!

The Wedding Dress hunt BEGINS!!!!

Good morning all!!!!

Yes, the wedding dress hunt begins today!! Woot!!

My BFF from Massachusetts flew in early this morning.

Thank you United for those two delays and 2 AM arrival. ;-)

Although it really wasn't the airlines fault. Before take off, there was an emergency landing of another United plane at Logan, and then they turned the connecting flight around so two TSA Agents could take two individuals off the plane in Newark. I thank you for taking seemingly belligerents off the plane and way from my best friend in the whole wide world!!

So yes, we are off and shopping today and tomorrow!! Updates to follow *YAY*
