Playing Catch Up

I just hate not feeling well. November has been a tough month around here with this cold that just will NOT go away, and the loss of our little loved one.
And we all know how well things get done around the house when the major cleaner is down and out.
Not one heck of a lot!!
So I'm playing catch up. Not only on my cleaning, cooking, laundry, everyday house hold chores, but on my editing, writing, and the day jobs paperwork. BLAH!

CALGON - TAKE ME AWAY, hahahahaha

I hope everyone had a great turkey day. We celebrated two days of eating, visiting and being happy. One with the honey's family, and one with my own.

I didn't go out shopping yesterday. Nope not that crazy!! Instead I surfed the internet and bought a few things in my pj's, Hehehehe, see how I am.

Have a great day everyone!!

The Rock

There is a huge rock near a gravel pit on Hwy. 25 in rural Iowa .

For generations, kids have painted slogans, names, and obscenities on this rock, changing its character many times.
A few months back, the rock received its latest paint job, and since then it has been left completely undisturbed. It's quite an impressive sight.

Be sure to scrolldown and check out the multiple photos (all angles) of the rock.

At the very end, you'll meet the young artist. I thought the flag was draped over the rock, but it's not. It's actually painted on the rock too.

Here's the artist -- Ray 'Bubba' Sorensen. AWESOME Work, RAY...Thank you! 'God Bless America ' and 'OUR SOLDIERS AND VETS'

Our Loss

I weep this day for we have lost a member of our family.

Last night at 7:23, our beloved Pug Beaudunk passed away.

I am thankful that we were there with him as he took his last breaths from this world to the next. He knew he wasn't alone in his last moments and was surrounded by those who loved him.

He would have been 15 years old January 22, 2009. So a full and happy life he has led.

He was my first child, my son's older brother, and our little one eyed leg lifter. For you see, he lost one eye during his youthful escapades, and well, lifted his leg and pee'd on my dad's leg.

When I first held him, he fit onto the palm of my hand. When I last held him, his little head lay onto the palm of my hand.

He was and always will be my little baby.

Today he will be cremated and continue to reside with us. Later, he will meet us as we come to him.
We Love you Beau

Okay, my BFF recently sent this to me, and I laughed my butt off, so I thought I'd share!

(1) Fine: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

(2) Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

(3) Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.

(4) Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!

(5) Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to # 3 for the meaning of nothing.)

(6) That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

(7) Thanks: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint. Just say you're welcome. (I want to add in a clause here - This is true, unless she says 'Thanks a lot' - that is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say 'you're welcome' . that will bring on a 'whatever').

(8) Whatever: Is a woman's way of saying F-- YOU!

(9) Don't worry about it, I got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?' For the woman's response refer to # 3.

* Inform the men you know, to warn them about arguments they can avoid if they remember the terminology.

* Tell all the women you know to give them a good laugh, cause they know it's true!!!

Voting Day

It's voting day here in the Good Ol' U.S. of A.

So I hope every American hops out to cast their vote.

Not only is it your patriotic duty, but it's a freedom you have, where many do not.

When you want to try something new...

When do you ask your partner to try something new, something you’ve been wanting to do for a while, or something you liked doing with an old flame, and want to do it with your new honey, but you’re not quit sure how to bring it up.

I know all those professionals say bring it up casually.

I think the more comfortable you are with your partner, the more open you are, the easier it is.

I love it when my honey tells me, “Oh I like that babe.” *wiggling eyebrows*, yeah *giggles* and I liked doing it, hehe.

Communication is the big rule in my book, and after I learned how to “voice” what I like, I became a whole new me. So now in my mid-thirties, I’m not afraid to ask for something, or ‘honey can we try this’, 99% of the time I’m offered up a yes, or that sounds interesting.

I mean we were talking about fantasies this morning. Yes, Okay, that’s why this chick is a bit late putting up the blog, LOL. See I was doing research, and the honey was helping.

Any who… fantasies…having the feeling of more than one in the bedroom is doable, and you don’t have to have an extra body there, there are so many toys out there now, that can ‘simulate’ shall we say, the extra piece(s) wanted, that some fantasies can be achieved with just the two of you.

Okay, but if you’re in a long time relationship or marriage, are you shy about asking your mate to try something new?

Would or have you brought up fantasies while laying there in bed or driving in the car?

All people are different (thank the creator) but is it hard for you, to bring up something new to your mate?

Halloween Last Night

Well the tricking and treating is over with. No real tricks were played, but a lot of treating LOL.

Although, when I was a kid. If you had your lights on, or you were outside, you had candy to give.

I couldn't believe the amount of people who left their lights on, and or where sitting in their drive way with "caution tape" strung across it so no one could enter.
In my days, that was call for toilet papering or a good soaping.

Then this one house, actually says to the kids, if you give me a Reese's cup, I'll give you candy. HUH??? What's up with that?? Lady give me treat or expect a trick!!

Of course my boy looks at her and says "*snort* I don't give my Reese's up to anyone including my mom" and walks away. YAY MY BOY!!!!
Hey wait a minute...I like those Reese's too, LMAO

Hope everyone had a fun and safe night!!
